Visitor Information

Everything you need to know about when, where and how to visit your loved one at any of our hospitals, all in one place.

Visitors

Abrazo is using a tiered approach for hospital visitation, which can change based on ongoing COVID trends. To promote a safe environment for visitors and for patients, visitation may be limited. Please check with each facility before visiting as policy is subject to change.

Special circumstances may apply for support persons for childbirth or end-of-life patients, to be determined by hospital administration.

Please also remember that regardless of the Level, Universal Source Control (i.e., Masking) is still recommended for individuals who:

  • Have symptoms of COVID 19 or other respiratory illnesses
  • Have high risk exposure to individual(s) with COVID 19 infection within the past 10 days
  • Work/reside on a unit experiencing a COVID 19 outbreak
  • Have increased potential for developing severe disease
We appreciate your understanding and partnership in maintaining a healing environment for our patients.

Flu

Visitors who have flu-like symptoms, an infection or a contagious disease are asked not to come to the hospital to visit a patient until they are well.

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) season

RSV season typically lasts from November to May in Arizona. During this time, children under the age of 12 may not be able to visit patients in the hospital. RSV causes mild, cold-like symptoms but can be serious and even life-threatening to babies and patients with compromised immune systems.
