Great things happen every day in our hospitals – children born, lives saved, families gathering with their loved ones. In addition to what happens inside our hospital walls, we’re also an active in the community.
Abrazo Health provides health screenings and education, supports local schools and neighborhood groups, and takes an active role in setting a positive example for taking proactive steps to improve our health. Here are just a few of the ways we give back.
Health Screenings
Abrazo Health offers numerous health screenings throughout the year – all to help you enjoy a healthier future!
Community Education
Abrazo encourages healthy families through education and outreach. Our hospitals offer a variety of classes including heart health, orthopedics, medical weight loss, diabetes education, childbirth and breast feeding classes.
Supporting Our Neighbors
Whether it’s Teddy Bear Clinics to teach young children about health and safety, helping refurbish classrooms in neighborhood schools or holding a chili cook-off for first responders, Abrazo is committed to being an active part of our community.
American Heart Association
Abrazo Health is presenting sponsor of the American Heart Association West Valley Heart Walk and an active participant in the annual Phoenix Heart Walk. We also support Go Red for Women and numerous other initiatives to help fight against heart disease and stroke.
Healthy Over Hungry Cereal Drive
Abrazo Health collects cereal and money each year that helps provide thousands of summertime breakfast servings for children in support of St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance and other local charities.
