Dr. Alexander Dydyk, DO MA

Director of Sports Medicine & Pain Medicine Electives

Dr. Dydyk was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He completed his bachelor’s degree in biology from Arizona State University in Tempe, his master’s degree in biomedical sciences, as well as his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. After graduating from medical school, he completed residency training at the Abrazo Family Medicine Residency Program in Phoenix, Arizona, where he served as chief resident.

After residency, Dr. Dydyk finished two one-year ACGME-accredited fellowships. He completed the Long Beach Memorial Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program in Long Beach, California, followed by the Allegheny Health Network Pain Medicine Fellowship in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2023, he obtained his obesity medicine certification from the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Dr. Dydyk’s free time is primarily spent with his wife, three young children, extended family, and friends. Hobbies include cooking, lifting weights, watching movies, and NBA basketball. His primary interest in medicine includes chronic and acute pain management, ultrasound and fluoroscopic guided intervention procedures, and patient wellness.
