I am a native to the west, and while I have lived in numerous states I am excited to be back at home in Arizona. As a psychologist, I have worked primarily in hospital settings, and have experience and expertise in areas of medical and clinical psychology—particularly general clinical psychology and psychotherapy, neuropsychological and psychological assessment, rehabilitation psychology, and primary care-mental health integration models. I am trained in evidence-based treatments for trauma, depression, anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, and functional neurological disorders. When working with patients, I try first to create a meaningful, therapeutic connection. After that, I blend techniques from cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, family/relationship system, existential/humanistic, and psychodynamic models to help inform my work, trying my best to tailor interventions to each individual patient. I am also passionate about education, and am honored and excited to be able to take part in educating new generations of family medicine providers at Abrazo.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll probably find me running, biking, or swimming (most preferably road cycling up an epic climb!). I am an avid triathlete and proud finisher of Ironman Arizona. I love to travel and experience new things. I am also always reading—I particularly enjoy fantasy and science fiction and am always happy to discuss new books.
