Alec Oliva, DO
Undergrad: University of Arizona
Medical School: Midwestern University
I’m an Arizona native, born and raised in Glendale, and a proud alumnus of the University of Arizona, where my passion for science led me to a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Continuing my educational journey at Midwestern University, I earned a master’s degree in biomedical sciences, and proceeded to complete my medical degree with a deep-rooted interest in Family Medicine, particularly in serving underserved communities and focusing on comprehensive patient care. My medical journey, influenced by personal health challenges and familial ties to healthcare, has been a blend of scientific inquiry and compassionate service. I'm not only committed to clinical excellence but also to nurturing the human connection in medicine, aspiring to provide holistic care that spans the spectrum of life from pediatrics to geriatrics. I’m ecstatic to join the Abrazo Family Medicine team, where I can serve my community!
I grew up speaking both English and Spanish in my multicultural household. Outside of medicine, I enjoy gardening, cooking, baking, writing, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
