ABOUT THE PROVIDER

I practice full-scope primary care, with an emphasis on disease prevention and nutritional medicine. I enjoy all office-based procedures, as well as colonoscopy and acupuncture. I love to take care of the whole family, from cradle to grave. I am proud to see people reach a higher level than they knew they could; whether a resident grows into an exceptional doctor, or a patient experiences healing... if I contributed to their success stories in some way, I am proud of that. I was born and raised in New Mexico, speak fluent Spanish, and am a combat veteran of the United States Air Force. I am passionate about cancer awareness and prevention, as well as children's health initiatives. I enjoy writing and teaching, and have published original research in the medical literature. I like music, woodworking, and archery.
