Dr. Ilana Mayer-Hirshfeld was born and raised in Mexico City. She moved with her family to Los Angeles during high school. Afterwards she moved to Maine where she completed a B.S. in Biochemistry at Bowdoin College. She then went to medical school at the University of Miami in Florida. She moved to Phoenix for her residency training. After finishing residency she joined the Abrazo Health Network in 2021, working at multiple sites throughout Phoenix. Her medical interests include Social Emergency Medicine
