Scott Babb, MD
Hello! I was born and raised in Redding, California, but with over 40 family members split between Phoenix and Tucson, I am excited to finally call Arizona my home. I completed my bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an option in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from California State University, Chico. I found my passion for medicine while I was working as a chemotherapy coordinator in a Medical Oncology office and decided to go back to school and pursue a career as a physician. I completed my post-Baccalaureate classes at San Francisco State University before attending medical school at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. I chose Emergency Medicine for the variety of acuity, hands-on patient care, and a robust skill-set that I can use outside of a state-of-the-art medical facility. Within Emergency Medicine I am particularly interested in ultrasound, medical education with simulations, and wilderness medicine. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with family, and friends, playing video games and hiking all around Arizona.
