Hello, my name is Michael and I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I attended the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, majoring in physiology and biology. I found my passion for emergency medicine during college through scribing in a local emergency department and haven’t looked back since. My interest in medicine plucked me from the great state of Minnesota and I moved across the country to attend medical school at the Burrell College in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I fell in love with the Southwest and am extremely excited to start my career here! My particular interests in emergency medicine include EMS, where I may pursue a fellowship.

Outside the hospital, I enjoy staying active through hiking, skiing, bouldering, and working out. To relax, I spend my time playing card games, chess, and video games with my friends back home. Thank you for welcoming me to the Valley.
