Well, hello there. I was born and raised here in the West Valley and I am elated to be returning home to Arizona for residency training. Prior to medical school I had several careers including percussion educaBon, IT consulBng, Apple Inc., EMS, EKG technician, and medical scribe. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and an emphasis in pre-medicine, and I received my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Rocky Vista University in beautiful southern Utah. My aim is to be an excellent emergency physician and the most competent and useful person in the room when “is there a doctor in the house?!” happens. While working as an EMT I learned how a well-trained pre-hospital crew can dramatically improve a patient’s course and I remain invested in all things EMS. My wife, a seasoned emergency nurse, and our two young children moved back home to Phoenix to be close to family and enjoy all that Arizona has to offer. When we aren’t wrangling kids or talking shop we enjoy spending Bme outdoors, bicycling, and very occasionally, sleeping.
